Abstract:

Duringthepast fewdecades, theconcept ofrefrigerantmixturefluidsisattracting moreresearchersinthe industrial applicationfor coolingequipment__ampersandsign#39;s.Theconcept ofmixedrefrigeranthasbecomemoreeffective whilecomparedto thebasefluids.Itismainlyusedinindustrialaswellasdomesticrefrigerants, airconditioningsystems, heatexchangers andmanymore.Inthepresentstudy, tostudythethermophysicalpropertiessuchasdensityandviscosityisusedto analyzevariouspropertiesbyconsidering 10gms ofrefrigerantmixturesuch aspropaneand ISO-butaneatdifferent compositions.Resultsare presentedforsimulations carriedoutatdifferentmassratiocompositionsvaryingwith respectto atemperaturerangeof300-350K andit isevaluatedthatvariationeffectofpressures atdifferent compositions ofarefrigerantmixture.Itisconcluded fromtheresultsthatasthetemperatureincreases, density of mixedrefrigerantincreases.Similarly, viscosityincreaseswithanincreasein temperaturefora mixed refrigerantat different compositions. Moreover, asthepressureincreases from3MPato 7MPaboth densityandviscosityincreased by 4.15%and 12.63%respectivelywhiletemperaturewaskept
