      <Abstract>The demand for energy is ever increasing. With the depletion of non-renewable energy resources, a gradual shift towards the utilization of renewable is required. Hence, in the present work, we have studied flat-plate solar collector, for harnessing solar energy, for application like domestic usage, pool heating and inductrial applications. Different riser configuartions is viewed as a part of the current research, and the thermohydraulic performance is compared computationally.</Abstract>
