It explores the urgency prompted by data breaches, economic damages, and a shortage of skilled security personnel. The core argument posits that AI integration will outperform conventional teams in the next five years, supported by active contributions from industry giants. Diverse AI applications, including automated threat hunting and incident response, are discussed alongside case studies showcasing effectiveness. The article highlights scalability and cost-effectiveness, tempered by the necessity of balancing AI with human expertise.
