Abstract:

As one of the countries which are vulnerable to various kinds of natural disasters, Indonesia requires a well-organized system of disaster management and disaster prevention education to be able to overcome and minimize impacts of disasters for the sake of sustainable country’s development. Through comprehensive literature review, this paper explores development of disaster risk reduction management and disaster prevention education systems in Indonesia in order to identify its prospects and challenges
